All 22 leaves are out and on display across Carthage for all to enjoy! šŸ Each location has been thoughtfully selected to reflect the history and significance of the landmark where it is placed.
This post shares just a glimpse of the landmarks you can explore, featuring 6 of the 22 Maple Leaf installations located throughout the community.
Passports are available at the Carthage Boots Court Visitor Center (125 S. Garrison Ave.), or you can learn more about each leaf, artist, and location by visiting:

As you explore the city, you’ll discover the Maple Leaf Art Installation Series—presented by the Route 66 Subcommittee of Tourism—a curated celebration of art, place, and heritage in Carthage.
Each installation offers a glimpse into the stories, architecture, and creative spirit that make our historic destination both timeless and vibrant. These works were created by talented artists who help shape Carthage’s distinctive character, thanks to the dedication of community leaders who brought this project to life.
As you journey from leaf to leaf, be sure to collect a sticker at each location and fill in the maple tree inside your passport—a memorable keepsake of your Carthage experience!
Sticker boxes will soon be installed on the back of each leaf. We appreciate your patience as this final step is completed.
